CO2 Extraction Plants - Beverage Industry
Union Engineering's CO2 extraction plants are also called extraction based unit (EBU). They are based on the presence of CO2 in existing raw gas sources.
CO2 Extraction Plants - High pressure
Union Engineering's CO2 extraction plants for the industrial gases industry are also called extraction based unit (EBU). They are based on the presence of CO2 in existing raw gas sources.
CO2 Extraction Plants - Low pressure
Union Engineering's CO2 extraction plants for the industrial gases industry are based on extraction of CO2 from any flue gas that originates from the combustion of fossil fuels such as natural gas, diesel oil, HFO etc.
CO2 Generating Plants
Union Engineering's CO2 generating plants are also called CBU plants (Combustion Based Units). They are based on combustion of various fossil fuels.
CO2 Recovery Plants - Beverage Industry
CO2 recovery plants are also called recovery based units (RBU). They are based on recovery from CO2-rich sources, e.g. from fermenting processes or chemical processes.
CO2 Recovery Plants - Medium-rich sources
A new alternative for production of food grade CO2 is generating PSA off-gases with medium-rich CO2 concentrations from hydrogen production, using the Union Engineering patent pending FlashCO2 technology.
