Novelferm

This German ethanol producer is recovering the CO2 from the fermentation process. A subsequent purification of the CO2 makes it a valuable by-product, distributed to the food and beverage industry.

Yantar Brewery

This project was a turnkey extension of the original CO2 recovery capacity with an additional 1600 kg/h. The job included full mechanical and electrical integration into the existing plants installed by other manufacturers.

Zhujiang Brewery

Being the second CO2 recovery plant sold to Zhujiang Brewery, Union Engineering now also supplied the first steam heated evaporator with independent PLC control. The evaporator ensures a stable supply of CO2 to the end-using points. The third plant RBU1000 will be shipped at the beginning of October 2006.

Guinness Brewery

The Guinness Brewery project was a turnkey installation of a complete new CO2 recovery line including storage tank, ReVap evaporator unit and PUR-A purification system for the highest possible CO2 quality. The turnkey installation was split in two phases to accommodate the request of the brewery to avoid downtime during peak season.

Soft drinks producers and bottlers

United Beverage Company – Pepsi Kuwait

The food grade CO2 in the plant is produced by means of combustion of kerosene and is used for bottling of Pepsi Cola and 7UP.

SDT Soft drink technology Ltd. – Kazakhstan

Combustion of natural gas is the means for producing the food grade CO2 in this plant. The CO2 is being sold to soft drink bottlers and breweries in the area.
