| Carboneco, Spain A utility company is operating a natural gas fired CO2 generation plant in the Barcelona area of Spain. Electricity is supplied into the public grid and the cooling water is used to heat up the water at a near-by fish farm to improve the growth rate of the fish. Food grade quality CO2 is recovered from the engine exhaust gases by Econamine wash (FS1), purified, liquefied and sold to merchant gas distributors.
